Applications are invited from Indian citizens for the post of Assistant Manager in Grade ‘A’ inthe Rural Development Banking Service (RDBS) / (Rajbhasha Service) in National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (NABARD). Educational Qualification (as on 01-07-2021):-

• A candidate can apply for Assistant Manager (RDBS/Rajbhasha) under only one option from among the options given in Table-1. It is clarified that candidate applying for Asst. Manager (RDBS) - General cannot apply for another discipline and vice versa. Similarly, candidates applying for Asst. Manager (Rajbhasha) cannot apply for Asst. Manager (RDBS) and vice versa.
• The candidate can apply only for ONE Post/Discipline of his / her choice. In case of multiple applications across or within disciplines for Grade A (RDBS), only the last application submitted will be considered valid and fee against all other applications will be forfeited. 
• PWBD candidates applying against Unreserved (UR) posts will not be eligible for relaxation in percentage in Educational Qualification. They may, however, be eligible for relaxation in Age and Fee. 
• The candidate must possess the required educational qualification as on 01-07-2021. The result of final term / semester/ year examination of the required educational qualification must have been declared on or before 01-07-2021 In other words, candidates whose final year/semester results have been declared after 01-07-2021 are not eligible to apply. Bachelor’s Degree in a particular discipline means that the candidate must have studied that discipline as main subject in respective degree course and it must be mentioned in the Degree Certificate issued by the University/Institute.

Process of Certification and format of certificates:

• A candidate belonging to a caste of SC, ST or OBC category, on migration from one State to another State will have to make an informed choice whether to get the benefit of reservation in the State of origin or to appear as unreserved candidate from the State of migration. Such choice will have to be exercised by the candidate in the online Application Form. No request for change of such option, after the submission of Application Form, will be entertained by the Commission. In case, a candidate opts to avail the benefit of reservation from the State of origin, he will have to submit information about the District and State of his origin as well as the District and State of his current domicile in the Application Form and his candidature will be considered from the State of origin. Such candidates will not be required to submit Domicile Certificate from the State of origin.

• Applications without such date printed on the photograph will be rejected. Image dimension of the photograph should be about 3.5 cm (width) x 4.5 cm (height). The photograph should be without cap, spectacles and both ears should be visible.

Scheme of Examination:

• Computer Based Examination: The Computer based examination will consist of one objective type paper containing 100 questions carrying 100 marks All questions will be of Objective Multiple Choice Type. The computer based examination will be conducted in English and Hindi only.
• There will be negative marking of 0.25 marks for each wrong answer. Candidates are, therefore, advised to keep this in mind while answering the questions.

The syllabus for the Examination will be as follows:

• General Intelligence and Reasoning: Analytical aptitude and ability to observe and distinguish patterns will be tested through questions principally of non-verbal type. This component may include questions on analogies, similarities and differences, spatial visualization, spatial orientation, visual memory, discrimination, observation, relationship concepts, arithmetical reasoning and figural classification, arithmetic number series, non-verbal series, coding and decoding, etc.
• General Knowledge and General Awareness: Questions in this component will be aimed at testing the candidate’s general awareness of the environment around him. Questions will also be designed to test knowledge of current events and of such matters of every day observations and experience in their scientific aspect as may be expected of any educated person. The test will also include questions relating to India and its neighboring countries especially pertaining to sports, History, Culture, Geography, Economic Scene, General Polity, Indian Constitution, and scientific Research etc. These Questions will be such that they do not require a special study of any discipline.
• Elementary Mathematics: This paper will include questions on problems relating to Number Systems, Computation of Whole Numbers, Decimals and Fractions and relationship between Numbers, Fundamental arithmetical operations, Percentages, Ratio and Proportion, Averages, Interest, Profit and Loss, Discount, Mensuration, Time and Distance, Ratio and Time, Time and Work, etc.
• English/ Hindi: Candidates’ ability to understand basic English/ Hindi and his basic comprehension would be tested.

Physical Efficiency Test (PET)/ Physical Standard Test (PST):

Railway Recruitment Cell invites ONLINE applications from eligible employees of West Central

Railway for filling up the following posts of NTPC (Graduate) against GDCE Quota as per

vacancies indicated below:

Note : The above medical standards are indicative and not exhaustive and apply to

candidates in general. The candidates are advised to read Chapter 5 of Indian

Railway Medical Manual (IRMM) Volume I which can also be accessed at

www.indianrailway.gov.in Candidates who have undergone Lasik surgery or

any other surgery procedure to correct refractory error are not eligible for the

post having Medical Standard A-2.

Candidates are advised to ensure that they are eligible as per the medical

standards for the post. In case of failure of the candidate to pass the

prescribed medical fitness for the post, he will not be considered suitable for

empanelment for that post.

AGE LIMIT:

        The upper age limit will be 40 years for General candidates (UR), 45 years for

SC/ST candidates and 43 years for OBC candidates.

       The lower and upper age limit indicated for the post(s) in the Vacancy Table will

be reckoned as on 01.07.2021.

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:

      Candidates should have requisite minimum educational qualifications indicated for

posts of this GDCE Notification 01/2021 from recognized Board/University/Institute

as on the closing date for ONLINE Registration. The candidates should possess the

requisite educational qualification on the closing date of application and the same

should also be endorsed in the Service Sheet of the employees Those awaiting

results of the final examination of the prescribed minimum educational

qualification SHOULD NOT apply.
